-The teen thinks for a moment. It would be odd if he heard people talk about them as if they were brothers, but it wouldn’t really bother him otherwise. And he hadn’t ridden on someone’s shoulder since he was 6. But he was 19 right now, and even if he was only two feet tall, would that still be acceptable for a 19 year old?- I see your point.

Warlock quickly slapped a hand over his mouth as he read the message left on the piece of the paper he held in his other hand, fighting not to laugh out loud. It had been passed to him by one of the prison guards a little earlier when he entered the precinct.
It was barely a week since his last visit to Benedikt. He must be feeling really bored and lonely to send him this message. That thought drained the laugh out of Warlock. He did not have the time to visit Benedikt again so soon as it was a particularly busy time for the task force.
Later on that day, Warlock looked through his collection for a history-based graphic novel he thought Benedikt might enjoy to send down tomorrow with a short reply. Hopefully, it will keep the man occupied for a little while more at least.
who is the big spoon/little spoon
Whichever they feel like, they switch often depending on what feels more comfortable for them.
what is their favorite non-sexual activity
Heading out on a clear day, whether a picnic or just to relax for some quiet and alone time to themselves. Warlock has a tendency to lie down and stare at the sky for minutes on these days. Sometimes Monarch joins him and they’ll talk about random things. Sometimes Monarch gets Warlock’s head on his lap.
who uses all the hot water in the morning
Neither, unless Monarch somehow managed to wake up early that particular day. Warlock had to often literally drag Monarch out of bed else they be late for work.
what they order from take out
Warlock can be particular about food, not so much what food it was, but how it was prepared and whether it tastes acceptable, but otherwise he was open to most kinds of food. When Monarch does the taking out, it was usually what he felt like eating at that time, but they are usually safe and standard fare. Warlock eats them without much complain, unless the food was really that terrible.
what is the most trivial thing they fight over
Monarch would be hunting for something he left somewhere and would bug Warlock about where he put it when he cleaned the place. They’d hunt for it together and when Monarch finally finds it, he’d wonder how the item got there and Warlock would tell him to clean his own things in the future in a huff. This happens often enough that it became more of a habitual argument than anything with real heat.
who does most of the cleaning
Warlock does most of the cleaning, but he’d coax Monarch to wash the dishes at the very least in trade of him cleaning everything else.
who leaves their stuff around
Both of them do, although Monarch was more notorious for it. Warlock usually picks them up and leaves them in an organised pile on the closest table/dresser top surface or Monarch’s work table.
who remembers to buy the milk
Sometimes Monarch, but usually Warlock as he goes grocery shopping more often.
who remembers anniversaries
Both do, although Warlock jots down dates on the calender and his planner to remind him of them because he has a tendency to forget when the days come if he was busy and occupied. Monarch usually prefers the celebrations simple, a home-cooked dinner and some together time after. It doesn’t stop Warlock from trying to make something simple as special as he could.
who is the big spoon/little spoon
Warlock initially let Top spoon him, but he very quickly learned that it did not matter who was the big or little spoon, Top would gradually end up sprawled all over the bed, so Warlock took to slinging his arm over Top in hopes of keeping him in place while sleeping. It doesn’t usually work.
what is their favorite non-sexual activity
Baking and candy making days. Top would pour a whole load of sugar into his batch, Warlock would separate out his share with considerably less sugar. They’d usually end up smearing each other with ingredients, resulting in showers together later.
who uses all the hot water in the morning
Warlock usually showers cold or lukewarm, so there would be hot water left for Top. The first few times, Top didn’t check the knobs and had cold water spray over him much to his chagrin. He carefully checks them now before turning on the water if he baths after Warlock.
what they order from take out
A variety of food, depending on how they feel. Top has a tendency to take out bizarre types of food, and preferably spicy. It was like roulette when it was Top’s turn to decide on what to take out that day.
what is the most trivial thing they fight over
Each other’s messes around the house.
who does most of the cleaning
Both clean, but Warlock usually leaves Top’s possessions alone after the latter kicked up a fuss about where he sorted them. So now, most of the cleaning was done by Top, although Warlock put his foot down on candy being strewn all over the place and would stubbornly pick them up to store in containers.
who leaves their stuff around
Both do, to a certain extent. They have almost similar habits when it comes to stacking their items and placing knick-knacks around the place.
who remembers to buy the milk
Warlock does not drink much milk on his own, but Top does, so he would get some when he sees an empty carton if Top had not gotten some first.
who remembers anniversaries
As mentioned earlier, Warlock jots down his dates on calenders and his planner as a reminder. Top also checks them whenever he notices. On freer occasions, they’d plan things for each other as a surprise, and end up with one having tickets to a show and the other to a museum. They’ll laugh over it after awkward pauses and go for both anyway.
who is the big spoon/little spoon
Warlock is usually the big spoon mostly because he had the longer limbs, so it was easier and more comfortable for both of them for him to wrap around Trixster. Trixster does insist on being the big spoon sometimes, but Warlock won’t be fully turned, part of his back still on the bed.
what is their favorite non-sexual activity
Cooking together and coming up with meals in the kitchen. Occasionally, Warlock would coax Trixster to help him with baking, although not often.
who uses all the hot water in the morning
Trixster does, but mostly because Warlock prefers taking cold showers. Even on the days Warlock feels like using hot water, he won’t be using all too much of it.
what they order from take out
Both are able to cook, so they often just eat in. Whenever both of them do not have time to cook or feel like taking a break from cooking, Trixster could eat almost anything so long as they taste decent. Warlock was the more picky one when it comes to eating.

Who used up something in the fridge.
who does most of the cleaning
Warlock does most of it, although the place would look rather lived in, it was an organized mess. He could usually tell you where things were within the piles of things.
who leaves their stuff around
Both do, but Warlock was more notorious for it. He does pick them up again later to put away. He had several corners in the house where he stacks most of his items together.
who remembers to buy the milk
Both do not drink much milk on their own, so they’d only get them when they feel like wanting milk, texting the other to ask if there was any milk in the fridge first.
who remembers anniversaries
Warlock wasn’t too good at remembering the dates when they happen, so he marks them on his calender and phone planner to remind him of them. He tries to surprise Trixster sometimes, but the latter would suspect and remember eventually anyway after Warlock asks him if he had anything planned for the next day.
Eventually, Top got sick of being blamed for Monarch’s drinking habits.
